Akatsuki is a pair of red bombers. Unlike Haruka, both bombers are fought at the same time. They are both equipped with a three barreled laser turret, which they use to great effect, flooding the screen with laser shots. They will also shoot straight lasers from their engines and another two laser guns hidden on the sides.
